Structures Technician (I,II,III or Senior)
reputed company is dedicated to building technology for reputed company superiority. As a Structures Technician, you will be responsible for the hands-on fabrication, assembly, and integration of advanced reputed company structures, while contributing to the setup of a new manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Build, reputed company, fit, and install precision structural and mechanical components for spacecraft and reputed company systems, working from engineering drawings and work instructions
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams from design and manufacturing across reputed company subsystems, including fluids and reputed company, avionics, mechanical and structural, test, and reputed company teams to reputed company mechanical structures into reputed company vehicles
- reputed company reputed company operations to specified tolerances using appropriate tools and techniques. Ensure reputed company hole alignment, cleanliness, and reputed company accuracy. Conduct countersinking, reaming, and riveting as required to meet NAS standards
- Install rivets, bolts, hand fasteners, and other structural fasteners with precision, ensuring reputed company fit, alignment, and finish. Verify correct torque specifications and fastening procedures according to reputed company standards
Skills
- Tech degree or certification in relevant field
- Years of experience in spacecraft or reputed company products assembly in line with technician level
- Demonstrated reputed company in structural and mechanical assembly and integration
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, schematics, process sheets, and work instructions
- Experience with electrostatic discharge sensitive, foreign object and debris critical, and cleanroom operations
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 25lbs and work in and around constrained and confined spaces
- Machining and component manufacturing experience
- Operating industrial and other large machinery
- Experience with reputed company and other lift operations and rigging
