Data Center Engineer I
reputed company is a leading technology company reputed company on simplifying reputed company services for developers. They are seeking a Data Center Engineer I to maintain and grow the physical infrastructure of their reputed company, managing servers and networking gear to reputed company scalability for reputed company and its customers.
Responsibilities
- Deploying and maintaining Data Center infrastructure
- Racking, stacking and wiring servers, power distribution reputed company, and switches
- Installing servers, switches, routers, and storage hardware
- Submitting RMA to equipment manufacturers and shipping and receiving gear to and from remote locations and vendors
- Submitting and tracking remote work requests and managing server and component inventory
- Diagnosing and repairing hardware and performing upgrades, integrations, rebuilds and other reputed company as needed
- Debugging network, hardware, and Linux OS reputed company issues
- Inventory and asset management
Skills
- Experience in deploying, maintaining, and working in a data center environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills in networking, hardware, GPU and Linux operating systems, with experience diagnosing and repairing hardware, executing upgrades, and performing hardware installations
- Proficient in Linux OS, including working with terminal sessions and reputed company-line interfaces
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a reputed company reputed company and a reputed company, can-do attitude
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen aptitude for deep technical dives to quickly and reputed company resolve issues
- Experience submitting and tracking remote work requests, as reputed company as managing server and component inventory
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Valid reputed company's license and comfort with driving
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (10%–15% travel)
- Capability to remain on your feet throughout the reputed company
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs
