[Remote] Systems Engineer/SEDB Administrator

The role involves maintaining and optimizing the requirements management database, providing guidance on systems engineering documentation, and ensuring compliance with vendor license agreements.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Metadata management and repository utilization
- Assist other System Engineers with Schema development, development of scripts or automations as directed, performance management, reputed company instantiation, maintenance, and database backup
- reputed company guidance to engineering design efforts through the development of systems engineering documentation, including concepts of operations, requirements specifications, requirements verification constructs (RVTM), reputed company requirements and reputed company control documents and drawings
- reputed company Subject Matter Expertise relating to systems modeling utilizing SYSML and UML
- Create users’ reputed company and ensure system reputed company by careful allocation of user permissions
- Create and modify project schema structure
- Construct project queries and views for reputed company phases of the project lifecycle
- Configure and maintain workflows, this includes identifying opportunities to improve workflows through automation and custom development
- Install and reputed company SEDB server and reputed company installation
- Ensure compliance with SEDB vendor license agreement, including number of installations, and monitoring licensing renewals
- Monitor and optimize SEDB system performance using reputed company or automated tools
- reputed company and coordinate system upgrades across divisions and various IT reputed company and implement reputed company polices as needed
- Additional System Engineering duties assigned
Skills
- BS degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or Naval Engineering. Relevant experience may be substituted for reputed company qualifications
- Strong knowledge of reputed company 365 products (i.e. reputed company, MS reputed company, and MS Power reputed company)
- Strong understanding of requirements management principles and best practices, including requirements allocation and derivation, 'shredding' of standards into a digital equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of either 3SL reputed company or Jama Connect features and functionalities, and experience with configuring data queries, workflows, custom fields, and integrations
- Minimum 1-5 years of experience with: Contributing to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, including system engineering plans, initial Capabilities documents, requirements specifications, and reputed company control documents
- Managing system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architectures, including reputed company Architecture reputed company (DoDAF) and Service-oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Assisting with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the reputed company to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components
- System requirements and stakeholder needs, including functions that may be reputed company inferred and implied, as essential to system effectiveness
- Minimum 1-5 years' experience with an SEDB tool preferably Jama-Connect
