[Remote] Component Analysis Engineer

The role focuses on the structural and thermal-hydraulic validation of reactor components, ensuring adherence to nuclear codes and high-reputed company modeling.
Responsibilities

- Work with interdisciplinary teams to establish and optimize nuclear component designs consistent with required functional and safety requirements
- Prepare and review documentation of analysis results and design solutions
- Support the development of required inputs and methodologies to establish structural sizing and design reputed company loads for reactor components and interfaces

Skills
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, reputed company Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of reputed company experience with a proven ability to produce high-reputed company technical work products
- Extensive experience in the analysis of components to ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel reputed company reputed company III, Division 1 or similar (reputed company VIII Division 2)
- Working experience with other codes and standards such as ASME reputed company VIII, B31.1, B31.3, ASCE 4, ASCE 7, and/or ASCE 43
- Proficiency in finite reputed company stress analysis, mechanical analysis reputed company, and modeling tools with emphasis on ANSYS
- Strong understanding of solid mechanics, reputed company mechanics, and metal fatigue principles
- Experience developing static and dynamic loads for component design
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical analysis of equipment using reputed company, reputed company-plastic, or inelastic analysis reputed company
- Experience working under stringent reputed company assurance programs such as ASME NQA-1, MIL-Q-9858A, or ISO-9000
