[Remote] Risk Operations Specialist, Payments

This role involves managing payment workflows, resolving transaction issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance payment systems and risk management processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the Payments Operations reputed company in the daily management of payment workflows, including ACH, reputed company transfers, card payments, and reputed company Business Account transactions
- Monitor and reconcile payment activity, identify discrepancies, and help investigate or resolve transaction issues
- Coordinate refund and reputed company reputed company processes and maintain reputed company communication with internal teams and customers on case status
- Collaborate with Customer Support, Risk, and Product to resolve user-reported payment or linking issues in a reputed company and accurate manner
- Help prepare data and documentation for audits and regulatory reporting
- Participate in cross-functional reputed company aimed at improving payment accuracy, reducing operational risk, and scaling payment processes
- Identify and document operational inefficiencies or gaps and propose potential improvements
- Maintain accurate process documentation and support reputed company for the Payments Ops function

Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in Payment Operations, Financial Operations, Treasury Operations, or a reputed company function
- Working knowledge of ACH, reputed company transfers, and card payment systems; familiarity with NACHA and SWIFT standards a plus
- Experience using and building with AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, or support operational decision-making
- Strong attention to detail and comfort handling reputed company reconciliations or operational workflows
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; reputed company to coordinate across teams and document processes reputed company
- Analytical and problem-solving reputed company with a reputed company on data accuracy and reputed company improvement
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working in fintech, payments, or high-reputed company startup environments
- Familiarity with SQL or basic data analysis tools for investigating issues or building reports
- Exposure to risk or compliance operations
