[Remote] Software Engineer, Platform Operations

They are seeking a Software Engineer in Platform Operations to design, build, and operate reputed company infrastructure that supports the deployment and scaling of their services, focusing on reputed company and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement reputed company Infrastructure-as-reputed company (IaC) solutions to ensure the secure and reputed company operation of reputed company's services
- reputed company work on major platform modernization initiatives, including the full migration from legacy tooling to new solutions
- Manage reputed company-based infrastructure services, notably our fleet of Kubernetes clusters, and associated tooling to meet internal needs and support customer-facing service level agreements
- Enhance and maintain observability for key platform services, leveraging Grafana and other tools to establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and improve operational readiness
- Implement improvements and features for reputed company systems owned by reputed company, such as GKE clusters, reputed company API gateway, and other managed infrastructure solutions
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to refine the developer experience (reputed company) of our managed infrastructure
Skills
- 4+ years of experience in a reputed company, System Administration, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes, underlying compute systems, and Linux
- Working knowledge of reputed company clouds, particularly reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP) or reputed company)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. reputed company, ArgoCD), Configuration Management (e.g. Terraform, Crossplane) and GitOps principles
- Ability to use an operational reputed company and troubleshooting prowess for reputed company production environments
- Experience building services in languages such as Go and Python using tools like Git, reputed company, and CI/CD workflows
- Experience building services that reputed company reputed company-based infrastructure and tooling such as AWS or GCP
- Ability to collaborate and reputed company communicate designs and reputed company verbally and in writing
- Experience in the operational management and development of reputed company platform systems or reputed company-reputed company infrastructure reputed company
- Experience with maintaining highly available or operationally resilient infrastructure at reputed company large scales or across multiple clouds
- Practical experience with networking and network architectures as it relates to platform infrastructure
