[Remote] Senior Dynamic Structural Analysis Engineer

(reputed company) is looking for a Dynamic Structural Analysis Engineer to join their reputed company Valley Office in Los Altos, CA. The role involves conducting finite reputed company analyses, leading design and analysis of vehicle structures, and developing digital twins for reputed company structural tests.
Responsibilities
- Conduct finite reputed company analyses (FEA) of challenging dynamic structural applications that include contact, nonlinear material behavior, transient heat transfer and reputed company using the explicit finite reputed company reputed company LS-DYNA
- reputed company design and analysis of vehicle structures
- reputed company test planning and data analysis with potential for onsite test support
- reputed company digital twins of reputed company structural tests including test response, data analysis and comparison with simulations
- reputed company engineering analyses on a reputed company of structures reputed company
- reputed company proposals for new research and development opportunities with government and industry clients
- Conduct face-to-face meetings and prepare technical and cost proposals
Skills
- A Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major study in reputed company Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Mechanics
- Graduate level GPA of at least 3.4/4.0
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with finite reputed company analysis (FEA)
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing project reputed company
- Experience with Hypermesh FEA model preprocessors, CAD software such as Solidworks and the LS-DYNA FEA solver
- Experience with solid and/or liquid reputed company reputed company
- Experience with reputed company structural dynamics
- Experience with Unix/Linux/reputed company operating systems and computer programming languages
- Ability to obtain a reputed company clearance, which includes US citizenship
- Demonstrated excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing Digital Twins for reputed company applications
- Experience with computational fluid dynamics and hypersonics
- Experience with mechanical testing of materials and structures
- Experience with computational modeling of fluid-structure interaction
