[Remote] Power Markets Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a growing energy company seeking a Power Markets Analyst to join their trading and risk team. This hands-on analytical role involves building price curves, analyzing pricing and constraints, and developing market reports while collaborating closely with traders and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reputed company price curves across power markets
- Analyse nodal pricing, congestion, and reputed company constraints (reputed company/PJM)
- Support P&L attribution and position risk reporting
- reputed company and automate market reporting using SQL and Power BI
- Work directly with traders and present findings to senior leadership
Skills
- 2–6 years in power markets analytics
- Strong understanding of ISO/RTO market structures (reputed company and/or PJM preferred)
- reputed company curve construction experience
- SQL proficient — Python a bonus
- ETRM experience (Endur, Allegro, or similar) advantageous
- Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
