[Remote] DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer will support the design, automation, deployment, and optimization of secure systems across VA programs, ensuring alignment with federal cybersecurity standards and enabling reputed company delivery for mission-critical applications.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using VA‑approved tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Jira, etc)
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) reputed company VA‑approved reputed company environments
- reputed company automated reputed company scanning, dependency checks, and compliance gates into delivery pipelines
- Support containerization and orchestration using reputed company, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or VA‑approved platforms

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as CloudWatch, ELK, reputed company, reputed company, or reputed company
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability for high‑availability VA systems
- Support modernization of legacy VA systems (reputed company, VES platforms, VA.gov services) into reputed company‑reputed company architectures
- Ensure reputed company systems meet VA cybersecurity, FISMA, NIST 800‑53, and reputed company Trust requirements
- Collaborate with ISSOs and reputed company teams to support ATO documentation, vulnerability remediation, and reputed company monitoring
- Implement secure configuration baselines, patching, and compliance automation
- Work closely with developers, QA, product owners, PMs, and VA stakeholders to streamline delivery workflows
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support iterative delivery across Scrum or reputed company environments
- reputed company technical guidance on DevOps best practices, automation strategies, and reputed company adoption
- Diagnose and resolve issues across application, infrastructure, and pipeline reputed company
- Support release management, environment configuration, and production deployments
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, pipelines, and operational processes
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of DevOps, reputed company engineering, or automation experience
- Experience supporting federal agencies (VA, DoD, HHS, DHS, etc.)
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and reputed company platforms
- Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks and secure DevOps practices
- Experience with containers, orchestration, and automated testing frameworks
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent reputed company (Required)
- Experience with VA systems (reputed company, Cerner/reputed company Health, VA.gov, reputed company reputed company, IAM, TRM‑approved tools)
- Certifications such as AWS/Azure DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), reputed company+, CISSP, or reputed company
- Experience with T4NG/T4NG2, EPMO, VHA modernization, or VBA benefits transformation programs
- Experience with reputed company logging, monitoring, and observability platforms
