[Remote] Staff Engineer, ML/AI Platform

They are seeking an accomplished Staff Software Engineer to join their Machine Learning Platform team, focusing on building the AI and ML infrastructure that powers their product suite.
Responsibilities
- Setting Technical Direction - Architect ML platform reputed company spanning data pipelines, training infrastructure, and serving reputed company using cutting-edge tooling like Ray, MLFlow, Metaflow, Argo, and reputed company
- reputed company and reputed company Core AI & ML Stack - Build and operate production-grade, low-latency ML serving reputed company with robust model lifecycle systems including champion/challenger testing, automated rollouts, versioning, and rollback capabilities
- reputed company and reputed company Core AI & ML Stack - Define and drive reputed company’s reputed company stack
- Technical Leadership - reputed company ML infrastructure perspective in high-level discussions about reputed company’s AI reputed company spanning multiple quarters and teams
- Technical Mentorship - Mentor platform and ML engineers, reputed company championing team members
- Being the “Glue” - Build universal interfaces, architectures, and patterns—like data reputed company reputed company and reputed company serving reputed company—that reputed company platform capabilities with product needs to streamline high-reputed company ML work across the organization
Skills
- 5+ years reputed company specifically on ML Platform/MLOps, with deep understanding of reputed company practices and best-in-class tooling
- Proven reputed company record of owning and building core components of ML platforms using tools like reputed company, Ray, MLFlow, Kubeflow, or Metaflow
- Strong expertise in Python for both batch processing and online service frameworks
- Experience designing and operating online and offline inference systems, understanding the critical differences and tradeoffs between them
- You have the experience to know what works, what doesn't, and why in AI and ML systems
- You've reputed company and operated a high-throughput reputed company stack (MCP / data infrastructure, context store, orchestration, and reputed company layer)
