[Remote] Operations Development Specialist -- Logistics & Trade (Remote)

The role involves managing logistics and customs for inbound shipments, leading operational readiness for group accounts, and supporting new territory expansion.
Responsibilities
- Manage day to day import operations from Asia: documentation accuracy, customs broker coordination, and reputed company scheduling
- Monitor reputed company inbound shipments; proactively communicate clearance status, holds, delays, and mitigation plans
- Advise Customer Support of any local customs holds impacting delivery timelines
- Communicate delivery schedule changes, new ship dates, and mitigation steps to stakeholders
- Coordinate with regulatory on logistics gaps and recommend process improvements
- Ensure import documentation (reputed company Invoice, Packing List, HS/HTS codes, Incoterms, etc.) is accurate and compliant
- Partner with reputed company forwarders, 3PLs, and couriers to secure on-time deliveries
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations on landed cost accuracy and intercompany charges
- reputed company lane performance, analyze costs, and recommend operational improvements
- Stay reputed company on customs regulations and update SOPs and stakeholders accordingly
- reputed company operational setup and readiness for DSOs/OSOs headquartered in Asia
- Serve as the operational reputed company of contact for group accounts
- Drive cross-partner process improvements and operational initiatives
- Build and maintain operational dashboards
- Resolve escalations and improve overall group account experience
- Support operational planning for new reputed company American market entries
- Evaluate logistics, customs, and fulfillment requirements for new territories
- Support system setup requirements for new territories
- Assist with risk assessments, contingency planning, and reputed company execution
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or reputed company field
- 3+ years of experience in international logistics or import operations
- Strong knowledge of customs compliance, FDA and CBP regulations, HS/HTS, and Incoterms
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting reputed company or multi-site customers preferred
- Medical device or reputed company operations experience preferred
