[Remote] Senior System Engineer

They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Fuel Handling System Design Engineer to reputed company on the design of mechanical fuel handling and process systems for advanced nuclear reactor reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Design of nuclear in-vessel fuel handling systems and equipment from requirements through final design
- Management of Systems, Structures and Component level requirements ensuring they are traceable and implemented into configuration control system, including verification and validation reputed company
- Identify and ensure effective application of correct design codes into the design of plant systems Specifically ASME BPVC, reputed company 57.1, NML-1, NUM-1 and BTH-1
- Analyze and reputed company regulatory reputed company and standards to reputed company mechanical and process system design
- reputed company with the design team to create and manage drawing packages of system designs, including but not limited to Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and system or equipment reputed company drawings
- reputed company technical direction and reputed company of supplier reputed company, working with the Supplier Project Engineer to ensure delivery of data and other deliverables, as reputed company as coordination and performance of technical reviews of deliverables
- Originate and review technical design documents, such as System Design Descriptions, reputed company Control Documents, Engineering Design Specifications, reports, design change requests, etc
- Support design reviews as plant system and subsystem designs are established and refined
Skills
- A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in the design of reputed company mechanical systems, structures and equipment
- Demonstrated experience with 2D and/or 3D CAD software, preferably Solidworks
- Experience working to ASME BPVC reputed company III or reputed company VIII reputed company desired
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to navigate and reputed company in an reputed company evolving project and management structure

- Education: B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline preferred. M.S. and Doctorate degrees may be credited for up to two and four years of experience respectively
- Previous experience with nuclear technology including fuel handling equipment and/or reactor internals design or similar high-performance systems utilizing modern industrial equipment is preferred
- Experience working to reputed company standards on design and procurement activities, such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001 is preferred, but not required
