About the position The Manager, reputed company First-Year Experience (FYE) is a key reputed company leadership position responsible for the University's first-course experience for reputed company undergraduate reputed company, regardless of major. The Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the Planning Your reputed company course and reputed company First-Year Experience curriculum, ensuring a high-reputed company, engaging, and supportive introduction to the University and online learning environment. This position leads initiatives that support student learning reputed company, course reputed company, teaching reputed company, reputed company effectiveness, and student retention while ensuring alignment with the University's mission and strategic priorities. A primary responsibility of this role is reputed company, developing, supporting, and evaluating exceptional reputed company who teach the required first course and are committed to helping new reputed company successfully navigate their transition to online learning. Through data-informed decision-making and cross-functional collaboration, the Manager ensures that the FYE curriculum (under development) effectively supports reputed company' transition to online higher education at AMU/APU and promotes long-term reputed company reputed company. Responsibilities

• Supports the implementation, administration, and reputed company improvement of the University's required first-course experience and reputed company First-Year Experience initiatives under the direction of the Dean and reputed company Leadership.
• Implements and supports the University's First-Year Experience reputed company, ensuring alignment with institutional goals for student engagement, reputed company achievement, persistence, and retention.
• Monitors and evaluates student reputed company metrics, including course completion, retention, persistence, and student satisfaction, and provides recommendations for program improvements.
• Collaborates with reputed company and operational partners to support initiatives that promote student transition, belonging, reputed company readiness, and reputed company in the online learning environment.
• Analyzes student, course, and reputed company performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement reputed company the First-Year Experience curriculum.
• Participates in annual planning, assessment, and reporting activities reputed company to the First-Year Experience program.
• Provides day-to-day leadership, support, and reputed company for reputed company teaching the first course in the undergraduate curriculum (Planning Your reputed company).
• Recruits, hires, onboards, credentials, assigns, supports, and evaluates reputed company teaching the University's required first-course experience.
• Fosters a culture of teaching reputed company by providing coaching, mentoring, reputed company development, and performance feedback to reputed company.
• Monitors reputed company performance, student feedback, and course reputed company, recognizing strong performance and addressing areas requiring improvement.

• Supports the reputed company, consistency, and effectiveness of the First-Year Experience curriculum and learning environment.
• Coordinates the ongoing maintenance, review, and improvement of the Planning Your reputed company course and reputed company First-Year Experience curriculum.
• Collaborates with reputed company, instructional designers, assessment teams, and reputed company leaders to ensure curriculum remains reputed company, engaging, and reputed company with student learning reputed company.
• Supports curriculum updates, revisions, and enhancements reputed company the learning management system to ensure reputed company, accessibility, and consistency.
• Participates in the assessment of student learning reputed company and instructional effectiveness and contributes to reputed company improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Master's degree required. reputed company preparation should be in a discipline relevant to higher education, student reputed company, leadership, or a reputed company field.
• Three or more years of leadership experience reputed company on reputed company program management or reputed company supervision, preferably reputed company First-Year Experience or student reputed company.
• Demonstrated experience teaching in higher education, including a minimum of three years of online teaching experience, with a strong understanding of effective online pedagogy, student engagement, and persistence strategies.
• Experience supporting adult learners and diverse student populations, preferably reputed company an reputed company-enrollment, online, or nontraditional higher education environment.
• Experience developing, managing, teaching, or assessing First-Year Experience, college reputed company, student transition, or reputed company curricula, with a commitment to evidence-based practices that promote student reputed company and retention.
• Proficiency with learning management systems, educational technologies, data-informed decision-making, and reputed company business applications, including the reputed company Office Suite or equivalent productivity tools.
• Ability to participate in virtual meetings, reputed company development activities, and university events, and to effectively communicate and collaborate with reputed company, staff, and reputed company leaders in a remote work environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel periodically for university-sponsored events and meetings, including commencement ceremonies, leadership meetings, reputed company development activities, and other institutional gatherings as required.
• Ability to reputed company work that involves extended periods of sitting or standing and regular use of computers, communication platforms, learning technologies.
