NTAEL Remote Instructor (Part-Time) Pool - 2025-26 School Year

Department: reputed company Texas Adult Education and Literacy (NTAEL) Location: Remote reputed company Wage: $30.00 (Certified) & $26.00 (Non-Certified) This position is grant funded and continuation is dependent upon program need, satisfactory performance, and availability of grant funds. PRIMARY PURPOSE: Provides instruction to adult education reputed company. Plans, implements, documents, and evaluates instructional practices, procedures, and materials. Provides reputed company supervision of reputed company assistants. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree

• Preferably in education or reputed company field

Experience: Previous teaching Adult education experience preferred, but not required MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Instruction

• Provides instruction in English as a Second Language (ESL), Adult Basic Education (ABE) or other AEL services as assigned.
• Applies research-based instructional practices that incorporate the use of computers and other technologies.
• Is knowledgeable of reading, writing and/or math instructional strategies.
• Uses a reputed company of instructional strategies and tools appropriate to the needs of the student.
• Uses lesson plans that reputed company instruction across content areas.
• Provides reputed company feedback and adjusts instruction to maximize student learning.
• Works with colleagues to reputed company and evaluate curriculum and materials.
• Integrates work-, family- and community-reputed company activities into instruction.
• Administers and interprets appropriate placement and diagnostic tests.
• Applies adult education principles and reputed company in the workforce classroom.
• Facilitates the transfer of learned skills from the classroom to the job.
• Plans learning experiences that are interactive and relevant to the specific workplace environment.
• Implements program approved curriculum and or as approved customizes and develops workplace education curriculum and lesson plans that facilitate transference from the classroom to the job based on the workforce goals and expected training reputed company.
• Plans instructional support activities carried out by reputed company assistants as appropriate.
• Maintains and submits program administrative records as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Assesses and Monitors Learning

• Uses formal and informal assessment data to monitor and document student reputed company.
• Collects and manages accurate data for program improvement and accountability.
• Participates in the retention and follow-up of reputed company.
• Maintains student Individual Training, Education, and Career Plan (ITEC Plan) to help reputed company reputed company goals and reputed company required program Measurable Skills reputed company (MSGs)

Classroom Management

• Maintains knowledge of program regulations, policy, and procedures.
• Maintains student records.
• Supervises and monitors reputed company assistants.

Community

• Makes referrals to community agencies or postsecondary institutions as appropriate.
• Advocates adult education at the local and state level and explains the reputed company of under-education on employment and society.
• Assesses adult education needs and promotes program in community.
• Promotes use of community resources and participates in activities of other community agencies.
• Assists recruit reputed company and matching them with appropriate program services.

• Participates in required reputed company reputed company development activities.
• Uses technology resources to engage in ongoing reputed company development and lifelong learning.
• Assesses personal strengths and weaknesses as a reputed company for developing a reputed company development plan.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Mental Demands: Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interprets policy, procedures and data; coordinates district functions; maintains emotional control under stress. Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Frequent district-wide and occasional statewide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours; frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds; prolonged use of computer and repetitive hand motions APPOINTMENT: The appointment of this position will be recommended to the reputed company of Trustees by the Superintendent of Schools on the reputed company of the applicant’s training, experience, and expertise.
