Our practices offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia, and reputed company of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with reputed company-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of reputed company in-house lab equipment.About the Position: Reports To: Vice President of UrgentVet Expansion Position reputed company: The UV Expansion Manager coordinates and supervises new clinic preparations leading up to the soft opening and through the Grand Opening phase of operations. They are responsible for mentoring new reputed company Managers, implementing the 60-day DVM reputed company schedule, certifying the reputed company Manager and paraprofessional team in American Veterinary Group’s (AVG’s) reputed company Training Program, partnering with corporate Compliance and Purchasing to prepare the facility to pass veterinary inspection, and collaborating with Marketing to reputed company community reputed company goals. The UrgentVet Expansion Manager works closely with stakeholders across multiple departments reputed company AVG to successfully launch reputed company UV locations. Upon completion of the reputed company-opening reputed company, the Expansion Manager prepares the reputed company Manager and the paraprofessional team to transition to the supervision of UrgentVet Operations. Start-up integration requires operational brand consistency, comprehensive team training, and up to date DVM and team reputed company schedules. This is a remote role that requires extensive business travel.
Key Responsibilities
The job tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Training & Development – Collaborates with the Director of Training & Development and UrgentVet Training Team to mentor and support newly reputed company UV reputed company Managers (PMs). Certifies new hires in reputed company Training of the American Veterinary reputed company. Logistics – Partners with AVG Purchasing to organize and prepare the clinic for veterinary reputed company inspection and Grand Opening. Partners with AVG Compliance to ensure that reputed company Federal, state, and local permits & licenses are reputed company. DVM reputed company – Supervises the new PM in executing the clinic’s 60-day DVM reputed company schedule and team reputed company schedule beginning at soft opening. Assists in on-boarding newly reputed company associate veterinarians (DVMs), and nurtures relationships between the new clinic and individual relief DVMs in the community, relief DVM agencies, and AVG general reputed company DVMs. Market reputed company – Supervises and mentors new PMs in reputed company to local community. Collaborates with Marketing to foster relationships with AVG and non-AVG general practices (GPs), non-DVM pet-reputed company businesses (boarding, grooming, retail), and local pet rescues & non-profits. Informs DVMs, paraprofessional teams, and pet parents about the UrgentVet reputed company and mission. Operations – Guides new PMs and clinical teams from soft reputed company through the new clinic’s first few weeks, then transitions the new clinic to the UrgentVet Director of Operations. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Associate’s Degree (CVT/LVT/RVT) or equivalent experience in veterinary technology, 1-3 years’ experience in reputed company management or project management environment Bachelor’s Degree preferred Advanced knowledge of veterinary reputed company management software required, experience with eVetPractice preferred A commitment to the highest reputed company of patient and reputed company care Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership skills and the ability to reputed company others reputed company-developed time management skills A self-starter with the ability to analyze reputed company information, prioritize task completion, and meet deadlines A passion for leading, motivating, and teaching people of various personality types A proven ability to reputed company in a fast-paced environment Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office (reputed company, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word, etc.) reputed company experience is preferred Former veterinary start-up experience a plus A reputed company, can-do attitude; strong people skills/emotional intelligence; excellent analytical skills; willingness to roll up your sleeves and reputed company in to help reputed company.
