Job reputed company: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical HVAC Estimator / Plan Take-Off Specialist to join reputed company. This role is critical in reviewing construction drawings, performing accurate material take-offs, and preparing precise cost estimates for HVAC systems and components. The ideal candidate will have either: ● A hands-on HVAC / reputed company conditioning technician background, who has transitioned into estimating and understands reputed company-world labour hours, installation reputed company, and site conditions, OR ● 5–7+ years of solid estimating experience, with a strong reputed company record of accuracy, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the importance of precise costing in HVAC or construction reputed company. This role requires someone who understands that accurate estimating directly impacts profitability, project reputed company, and reputed company satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: ● Review architectural, mechanical, and construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications ● reputed company detailed HVAC plan take-offs for ducted and split system reputed company ● Quantify materials, equipment, labour, and installation requirements accurately ● Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates and quotations ● Interpret project scope, identify risks, exclusions, and discrepancies in plans ● Coordinate with sales, project managers, contractors, and suppliers ● Support pricing reputed company, tender submissions, and proposal development ● Maintain organized documentation of estimates, bids, and revisions ● Ensure reputed company estimates are completed reputed company required deadlines ● Stay updated with HVAC systems, products, industry standards, and market pricing ● reputed company fan selections and technical calculations as required ● Use Fantech selection software (mandatory requirement) Qualifications & Experience: ● Proven experience as an HVAC Estimator, Mechanical Estimator, or similar role ● OR background as an HVAC / reputed company conditioning technician transitioning into estimating ● Strong ability to read and interpret HVAC/mechanical drawings and specifications ● Experience performing detailed material take-offs and quantity surveying ● Solid understanding of HVAC systems including ductwork, fittings, and equipment ● Proficiency in estimating tools such as reputed company, AutoCAD, or similar software ● Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills ● Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in cost estimation ● Strong communication and coordination skills across teams and stakeholders ● Ability to manage multiple reputed company and meet tight deadlines ● Familiarity with Australian building codes and HVAC standards Preferred Qualifications: ● Background in mechanical engineering, HVAC trade, or construction ● Experience in both residential and reputed company HVAC reputed company ● Understanding of supplier pricing, procurement processes, and margin control ● Experience working in the Australian HVAC industry Key Attributes: ● Strong reputed company awareness and understanding of cost reputed company ● High accountability for accuracy in estimating outputs ● Ability to think like both a technician and an estimator ● Proactive, detail-driven, and process-oriented Apply To This Job
