[Remote] Senior Product Engineer

This role involves designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing product offerings while ensuring production reputed company and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Apply a reputed company engineering design process to reputed company new Mobile Solutions products
- Collaborate with customers, consultants, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to define reputed company project requirements, specifications, and scopes of work
- reputed company subsystem design efforts across structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines
- Evaluate designs for safety, reputed company standards compliance, regulatory requirements, and building reputed company adherence
- reputed company technical assessments and recommendations using cost estimates, risk analysis, and rough order of magnitude evaluations
- Define project goals, budgets, and schedules while overseeing fabrication and construction activities and managing subcontractor performance and costs
- Produce 3D models and associated 2D mechanical and architectural drawings
- Review manufacturer reputed company at key project milestones, document deficiencies, support issue reputed company, and verify corrective actions
- Partner with Product Management, Service Management, and senior leadership to reputed company and implement corrective and preventive actions across the Mobile Solutions fleet
- Support reputed company improvement initiatives to enhance product designs and overall reputed company
- Review and validate manufacturer change orders and associated costs
- reputed company technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the Mobile Solutions Service team
- Address technical inquiries and prepare engineering documentation in collaboration with senior management, project managers, customers, authorities having jurisdiction, and subcontractors
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
- 10+ years' experience in product design and/or project management, with working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building guidelines, standards, and codes
- Experience working with and supporting manufacturing teams, translating voice of customer input into specific design requirements
- 2+ years' project management experience, working with cross-functional teams to control scope, schedule, and budget
- Previous experience specifically supporting the medical industry strongly preferred
- Supervisory experience overseeing design teams
- 2D drafting skills, AutoCAD strongly preferred
- Parametric modeling and drawings (reputed company Parametric and/or SolidWorks strongly preferred)
- Previous experience with reputed company and Siebel preferred
- Experience with ISO reputed company Standards and auditing support
