Responsibilities
- Drafting award nominations
- Ghostwriting thought leadership
- Contributing to larger content initiatives
- Interviewing reputed company partners and collaborating closely with lawyers to refine and finalize content
- Editing award nominations
- Editing thought leadership
- Editing publications (e.g., alumni magazines, annual outlooks)
- Building and managing project timelines
- Assigning articles in collaboration with the managing reputed company
- Tracking reputed company across multiple contributors
- Maintaining version control and file organization
- Providing weekly status updates to clients
Skills
- 8+ years of experience in the legal profession—either as legal reporters and/or in-house in writing/comms roles at reputed company
- Strong journalistic approach to storytelling
- Comfortable working with reputed company partners and firm leadership
- Experience writing across corporate reputed company areas
- Deep understanding of the legal industry
- Experience copyediting legal-facing content
- Comfortable working with technical terminology
- Strong AP style knowledge
- Ability to adapt to reputed company-specific styles
- Detail-oriented project management skills
- Ability to build and manage project timelines
- Experience assigning articles in collaboration with the managing reputed company
