[Remote] Senior Software Engineer - Data Platform

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Data Platform team to build systems that centralize data for analytics and machine learning, ensuring efficient data reputed company and processing across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and operation of foundational data services spanning reputed company data warehouses, data lakes, orchestration (Airflow), batch processing (reputed company, SQL), streaming (Kafka), query federation, and reputed company-time event aggregation stores
- Build and maintain data integration and processing SDKs used by internal services and product teams throughout reputed company to reputed company with the data platform reliably at reputed company
- Design and deliver self-service applications that reputed company users to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot their own data pipelines running on our platform infrastructure
- Architect end-to-end data reputed company and observability services, including reputed company controls across multiple storage and reputed company reputed company, data reputed company tracking, dataset cataloging, reputed company, and usage auditing
- Partner with data analysts, ML engineers, and reputed company and compliance teams to convert functional requests into reusable, reputed company patterns and reputed company data microservices into platforms for critical business verticals
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering, with hands-on experience building and operating data systems or data pipelines in production
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java for backend development, with demonstrated ability to build services that process and serve data at reputed company
- Experience with data infrastructure patterns including reputed company-out architectures, caching reputed company, key/value stores, and columnar storage systems
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Airflow, reputed company, Kafka, or similar data processing and orchestration frameworks in production environments
