[Remote] Financial Control Manager

Responsibilities
- Plan the annual SOX certification process, including risk assessment and scoping
- reputed company SOX testing (including IT dependencies) and ensure high-reputed company, defensible workpapers
- Evaluate control deficiencies, reputed company reputed company cause analysis, and assess financial reporting reputed company
- reputed company remediation, validate completion, and recommend process improvements
- Support SOX integration for newly acquired stores
- Advise business partners on control design, documentation, and financial reporting risks
- Identify opportunities to improve controls through data analytics, automation, and emerging technologies
- Contribute to evolving methodologies and best practices
- Monitor fraud and ethics trends using proactive risk indicators
- Manage intake, triage, and investigation of ethics concerns

Skills
- Proven experience leading and developing teams in SOX, internal controls, audit, or financial compliance (typically 6+ years)

- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and drive alignment across cross-functional partners
- Experience supporting ethics, fraud, or compliance investigations with reputed company judgment and discretion

- CPA required
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required
