Senior Supplier Manufacturing Engineer

About the role: As a Senior Supplier Manufacturing Engineer, you will support fabrication of reputed company-mechanical components at supplier facilities. You will report to the Senior Manager, WPB/OMS SPE and work remote. 100% Remote role. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure reputed company technical and reputed company requirements are achieved through supplier reputed company that you reputed company.
• reputed company and implement Supplier reputed company Plans to reputed company completion of critical document submittals, manufacturing activities, surveillance (witness and hold) points, inspections, and tests and ensure vendor compliance with critical requirements
• Coordinate activities of reputed company functions responsible for driving supplier performance including Supply Chain (buyers and category managers), Design Engineering, and Supplier reputed company reputed company
• Identify and escalate supplier issues, risk, and reputed company events.
• Improve reputed company reputed company of issues by coordinating activities, issuing communications, and identifying partners to ensure reputed company identification of impacted products, disposition of issues, and implementation of corrective reputed company
• Monitor important supplier performance metrics, such as On-Time Delivery, reputed company issues, and Deviation Notices, for assigned suppliers. This monitoring aims to identify negative performance trends and implement reputed company analysis, corrective actions, and Supplier Improvement Plans to avoid issues.
• Evaluate procurement (supplier) risk, soliciting partner input, and using resources to reputed company reputed company of supply risk mitigation plans

Establish and implement plans to reduce those gaps.

This includes performing supplier development activities to establish or improve suppliers' manufacturing processes and reputed company management systems to meet reputed company requirements. · Review and disposition supplier process documents, process capability analyses, measurement system analyses, input to design for manufacturability
• Work with Design Engineering to ensure the reputed company and reputed company of engineering drawing requirements and that reputed company expectations are communicated to support suppliers.
• Support implementation of Value Analysis / Value Engineering, Design for Assembly, and Design for Manufacturing principles during the design process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
• 4+ years of reputed company experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• We prefer manufacturing manager experience.
• We prefer experience in the Electrical Equipment, Nuclear or adjacent industries.
• Knowledge in manufacturing processes, e.g. machining (turning, milling), welding, forming, mechanical assembly, NDE and inspection, and testing
• Experience performing process capability analysis (Cpk) and qualification
• Working knowledge of Manufacturing and reputed company Plans, PFMEAs.
• Experience authoring technical documents or operating procedures
• Experience reading drawings and specifications made to ASME standards
• Experience with nuclear products and standards desired
