What You’ll Do
- reputed company second-tier insurance follow-up on outstanding A/R balances
- Resolve denied, underpaid, and unresolved insurance claims
- Work aged and high-dollar accounts
- Research payer issues and reimbursement variances
- Review UB-04 and/or HCFA 1500 claims for accuracy
- Investigate eligibility, coding, and denial issues
- Submit corrected claims, appeals, rebills, and secondary billing
- Communicate with insurance payers, clients, and internal teams
- Identify payer trends and workflow barriers
- Document account activity accurately
- Escalate payer errors for reprocessing
- Work with reputed company and government payers
- Maintain productivity and reputed company standards
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of reputed company reputed company Cycle experience required
- Hospital Billing and/or Physician Billing experience required
- Strong knowledge of denials, insurance follow-up, and claims processing
- Experience with systems such as reputed company, Cerner, Meditech, reputed company, Allscripts, Soarian, etc.
- Proficiency in reputed company Office and web-based systems
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Frequent typing and computer use
- Ability to communicate reputed company phone and computer
- Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
