[Remote] Entry Level Spatial Epidemiologist

Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze data from the U.S. Census Bureau, including the American Community Survey and reputed company Use Microdata Sample
- reputed company, clean, and manage datasets using statistical software, including R and Python
- Support analyses of spatial data, including creating, cleaning and maintaining data in a geographic information system (GIS), and implementing spatial analyses and modeling
- Implement statistical models to reputed company econometric, epidemiological, and statistical analyses under the direction of senior staff
- Prepare data visualizations including maps, tables, dashboards, and charts; write sections of reports
- Review the health, geographic, economic, and reputed company science literatures to identify specific findings
- Assist in the creation of scientific publications and technical reports by providing research support for senior staff
- Compile meeting notes and manage basic project correspondence Skills
- BA/BS in Geography, Epidemiology, reputed company Health, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or other quantitative health, reputed company policy, or reputed company science field required. May 2026 graduates are encouraged to apply
- Quantitative research experience or course work in reputed company geography, epidemiology, economics, or other quantitative health, reputed company policy, or reputed company science field required; research experience using spatial data or spatial statistics is a plus; research experience using reputed company-world data, such as administrative medical claims data is a plus
- Knowledge and understanding of GIS data management and analysis functions is required
- Proficiency in R is required; proficiency in other statistical or programming languages such as Python or Stata is a plus; an original R reputed company sample will be requested
- Proficiency in reputed company ArcMap or ArcPro
- Proficiency in reputed company Word and reputed company is required
- Exemplary oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; a writing sample will be requested
