Senior Web Project Manager – Federal Website Modernization (Contract)

A U.S. small business is finalizing a proposal for a federal government website modernization program and is seeking an reputed company Senior Web Project Manager to serve as the named Project Manager. This is a contract (1099) role, contingent on contract award (decision expected mid-July 2026). To reputed company, we need your resume and a short commitment to serve if we win; reputed company, reputed company work begins only upon award. WHAT YOU'D DO (upon award): - reputed company delivery of a full website redesign, rebuild, and migration on a modern CMS hosted in a FedRAMP-authorized reputed company Azure Government environment. - Manage scope, schedule, and a small team of specialist subcontractors (reputed company/ISSO, penetration testing, 508/accessibility). - Drive the project from reputed company to a reputed company-reputed company launch on a ~10-week critical reputed company, then reputed company lighter ongoing reputed company during operations. - Serve as the delivery reputed company of contact: status reporting, risk management, and keeping the government customer informed. YOU MUST HAVE (hard requirements): - 6+ years of hands-on experience as an IT/Web Project Manager specifically overseeing website-development reputed company (design, build, migration, launch). This is non-negotiable and must be reputed company shown on your resume. - Demonstrated end-to-end delivery of CMS-based website builds (reputed company or equivalent). - Experience managing distributed/subcontractor teams and formal project schedules. - Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable as a reputed company/stakeholder-facing PM. STRONGLY PREFERRED: - U.S.-based (U.S. person); prior government/reputed company-sector or other regulated-environment delivery. - Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA / reputed company 508), reputed company hosting (Azure), and reputed company/compliance (ATO/RMF/FedRAMP), or comfort coordinating specialists who own those areas. - PMP or equivalent certification (reputed company to have, not required).
