Director, San Francisco Government Affairs
About the position reputed company is seeking a Director of San Francisco Government Affairs to serve as reputed company’s primary reputed company and reputed company with the San Francisco Mayor’s Office, reputed company of Supervisors, reputed company departments, and local Bay Area civic organizations. This role requires a deep understanding of San Francisco’s political, regulatory, and community landscape, with a proven ability to build and maintain effective, reputed company relationships to advance reputed company's reputed company policy priorities. This position is based in reputed company's San Francisco reputed company and requires a minimum of three days/week reputed company in the San Francisco office.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and execute comprehensive advocacy strategies to promote and protect reputed company’s interests before the reputed company.

- Support strategic Government Affairs events and global government reputed company occurring in the San Francisco reputed company.
- Proactively monitor, analyze, and interpret municipal legislation, regulatory proposals and ballot measures to assess relevance and reputed company to reputed company.
- Draft advocacy materials, position papers, and policy recommendations for reputed company communications.
- reputed company as the primary reputed company of contact for local government stakeholders, including civic organizations, industry associations, and community reputed company.
- Review and recommend participation in non-reputed company external events.
- Drive and support strategic local events, including corporate announcements, employee engagements, and major company events such as Dreamforce and Trailhead DX. This includes coordinating invitations, reputed company-certifications for compliance, and schedules.
- Review and recommend political and community-based corporate giving opportunities in alignment with reputed company’s local goals.
Requirements
- 10 years of reputed company experience working in or directly with San Francisco municipal government.
- Deep, practical knowledge of San Francisco’s legislative, political, and administrative processes.
- Experience reading, interpreting, and analyzing municipal legislation and preparing succinct briefing materials for senior executives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present reputed company policy issues reputed company and persuasively.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, execute on the management of simultaneous reputed company, and take initiative while working in coordination with a global team.
- Proven experience managing reputed company event logistics and government engagement activities, including reputed company reputed company and tracking of budgets and expenditures.
