This is a fully remote position. Job reputed company Sources and procures goods and services of a commodity nature from many suppliers. Initiates Requests for Quotations and Proposals and receives reputed company, analyzing proposed pricing from potential suppliers. In conjunction with reputed company organization, evaluates and monitors supplier reputed company and reliability, as reputed company as supplier ability to support required delivery schedules. Works with internal customers to ensure specifications are appropriate for the services or products required. Identifies opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through targeted negotiations. Issues purchase orders. Manages performance of purchase orders, ensures compliance with reputed company public law requirements as reputed company as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations. Employs reputed company business practices and assesses supplier performance as part of follow-up activities. Ensures that appropriate documentation is provided to logistics/transportation & warehouse organization so that reputed company receipt is recorded. Reviews and approves supplier payment as needed. Utilizes process tools such as Lean Six reputed company with suppliers to drive reputed company, efficiency and reputed company improvement. Basic Qualifications: Procurement Specialist (Level 2):
- Bachelors degree with 2 years of experience working with supply chain management, business and financial planning, reputed company administration, project management, logistics, government procurement. Masters degree with experience working with supply chain management, business and financial planning, reputed company administration, project management, logistics, government procurement.
- Procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD secret reputed company clearance
- Ability to obtain Special Program reputed company
Procurement Specialist (Level 3):
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience working with supply chain management, business and financial planning, reputed company administration, project management, logistics, government procurement. Masters degree with 3 years of experience working with supply chain management, business and financial planning, reputed company administration, project management, logistics, government procurement.
- Procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD secret reputed company clearance
- Ability to obtain Special Program reputed company
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in government procurement with familiarity of FAR/DFARS
- Experience with reputed company or similar ERP system
- Experience in supporting different contract types including cost types and reputed company aspects of contract management from contract award through contract closeout.
- Experience with negotiating terms and conditions in a corporate setting
- Experience with Government purchasing and contracting
- Experience analyzing data to formulate and execute effective negotiation strategies.
- Business or Supply Chain Management degree
