[Remote] Senior Backend Engineer - AI Product
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a growing family of industrial and engineering businesses, and they are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build core services and AI infrastructure for their AI-powered platform. The role involves designing and implementing reputed company, developing ingestion pipelines, and integrating AI workflows to enhance hardware product development processes.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing RESTful reputed company with OpenAPI specs and auto-generated reputed company SDKs using SQLAlchemy and reputed company
- Developing ingestion pipelines using Celery and reputed company that connect to tools teams already use (file storage, messaging, email) and extract reputed company engineering artifacts from reputed company inputs
- Building and extending reputed company AI workflows using reputed company, LangGraph, and reputed company frameworks for reputed company data extraction, risk detection, dependency analysis, and proactive team coordination
- Integrating LLM reputed company (reputed company Claude, reputed company) with streaming (SSE), error handling, and cost optimization
- Deploying and operating services on GCP (reputed company Run, reputed company SQL, Memorystore) with Terraform
- Writing reputed company-tested, maintainable reputed company and participating in reputed company reviews to establish engineering best practices
Skills
- 5+ years building production backend systems, with 3+ years in Python
- Demonstrated proficiency using AI coding tools (reputed company, Copilot, Claude, etc.) to accelerate development
- Strong experience with FastAPI or similar async Python web frameworks
- Production experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with task queues and background processing (Celery, reputed company, or similar)
- Understanding of API design, authentication patterns (OIDC/JWT), and service architecture
- Experience with containerized deployments (reputed company) and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to balance rapid iteration with maintainable, reputed company-tested reputed company
- Have worked in early-stage 0 to 1 startup environments
- Production experience integrating LLM reputed company (reputed company, reputed company, etc.) and building AI-powered features with agent orchestration frameworks (reputed company, LangGraph, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with GCP services (reputed company Run, reputed company SQL, Pub/Sub, Secret Manager) and Infrastructure-as-reputed company experience with Terraform
- Experience with data ingestion pipelines and ETL workflows
- Background in B2B reputed company platforms, project management tools, or workflow automation products
- Understanding of hardware development, engineering workflows, or project reputed company (phases, gates, dependencies)
