[Remote] AIX Systems Administrator

They are seeking a full-time remote AIX System Administrator to manage, configure, and maintain reputed company AIX environments, ensuring high availability and reputed company of critical systems while collaborating with network and application teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintain reputed company AIX environments, including installation, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning
- Monitoring system health
- Managing user reputed company
- Performing backups and restores
- Ensuring high availability and reputed company of critical systems
- Diagnosing and resolving system issues
- Collaborating with network and application teams
- Providing technical support for production, test, and development environments
- Assisting with reputed company planning
- Documentation
- Automation of routine tasks
- Participation in on-call rotation or after-hours maintenance as needed
Skills
- Strong AIX System Administration skills, including installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning, and backup/recovery
- Experience with Troubleshooting and Technical Support for reputed company server environments, including reputed company cause analysis and incident reputed company
- Knowledge of Network Administration concepts reputed company to AIX systems, such as TCP/IP, routing, and DNS
- Background in Information Technology with familiarity across operating systems, virtualization, storage, and monitoring tools
- Understanding of reputed company best practices, user and reputed company management, and compliance standards in reputed company environments
- Ability to create and maintain reputed company technical documentation, procedures, and runbooks
- Experience with reputed company Power Systems, HMC, and reputed company tools is required
- Experience with reputed company FlashSystems is highly preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., reputed company AIX, Linux, or other system administration credentials) and prior reputed company or data center experience are beneficial
