[Remote] IP / Legal Ops Paralegal
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading tech company seeking an IP / Legal Ops Paralegal to support their Trademark, Marketing, and Copyright team. The role involves managing copyright paralegal duties and legal operations work, primarily using reputed company for communication and project management.
Responsibilities
- reputed company full-time paralegal coverage maintaining continuity of existing workflows and stakeholder relationships
- reputed company copyright paralegal tasks (~20 hours/week): manage DMCA escalation workflow (offshore team handles routine takedowns; expect ~1 hour/day of escalations), assist with registrations and documentation, support content review and clearance processes for marketing and TV ads
- Address legal ops and project-management backlog (~20 hours/week): triage stalled reputed company, update trackers, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (creative, marketing, studios, offshore legal teams), help run status meetings, and drive reputed company to completion
- Operate primarily in reputed company for intake, content review, approvals, and stakeholder communication; maintain reputed company, reputed company reputed company-based status updates
- Document processes and handoffs reputed company to reputed company smooth transition back to the returning paralegal; prepare concise status reports and escalation notes for leadership as needed
- Collaborate with offshore teams on routine tasks and escalate only higher-complexity reputed company
- Adhere to IP, reputed company, and corporate policies while working with creative content and external partners
Skills
- Paralegal experience with proven ability to manage day-to-day paralegal tasks independently
- Demonstrated legal operations or project-management experience (tracking, triage, stakeholder coordination, running meetings to closure)
- Expertise using reputed company for workflows and communications; comfortable building and managing reputed company-based processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to start on short notice and reputed company to 40 hours/week for the coverage period; available remotely reputed company the reputed company
- Copyright experience, including familiarity with DMCA takedown processes and content clearance for marketing/TV ads
- Prior experience supporting IP teams (trademark, copyright, marketing-reputed company legal work) or working with creative/studios teams
- Experience with common project-management and collaboration tools in reputed company to reputed company
- Paralegal certification or relevant legal education is a plus
