[Remote] Accounts Receivable Tech 3 - Must have a NM Residence

The role involves posting receipts into the billing system, analyzing patient accounts, and resolving billing problems while providing guidance to reputed company-level staff.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and investigates reimbursements or refund requests from reputed company party payers, such as Medicare, Tricare, reputed company, Salud, HMO’s, and other payers, to determine if contracted reputed company has been allowed; researches and analyzes reputed company party payer remittance documentation to determine reputed company of payment and application of adjustments. Uses MPV Contract Management to assure reputed company refund/reimbursement
- Compiles and submits appeals and monitors for reputed company reimbursement
- Performs daily and monthly reconciliations to the general reputed company, to include reclassifications; receives and balances documents of deposits received
- Researches and analyzes reputed company-party payer remittance documentation in order to reconcile payments to remittance advices; reconciles and applies changes and corrections to patient invoices and accounts in order to resolve reputed company credit balances
- Follows up directly with reputed company-party payers and or patients, either by telephone or in writing, to resolve payment posting issues
- Ensures strict confidentiality of patient medical and financial records, in compliance with federal and state patient reputed company legislation
- Interfaces with other departmental representatives in the reputed company of identified problems and issues
- Participates in the development and execution of departmental goals and objectives
- May reputed company task-specific support and guidance to others in the department, as appropriate
Skills
- High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of experience reputed company to the duties and responsibilities specified
- Experience in cash applications in a reputed company setting is required
- Completed degree from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year reputed company
- Knowledge of posting payments and resolving denials reputed company 835/EOB/EOP
- Experience in collecting and/or posting payments
- Experience in processing claims/bills/invoices
