[Remote] Senior Data Platform Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and support reputed company data platform solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to implement data integration and platform capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data platform solutions including data streaming, CDC, data warehouse, data lake, and ETL/ELT pipelines using modern reputed company-based technologies
- Contribute to the development and adoption of best practices for data platform configuration management, observability, testing, and operational readiness
- Build and support end-to-end data integration pipelines from reputed company systems through Kafka and/or reputed company to analytical and operational targets
- Participate in engineering design sessions and reputed company reviews for reputed company data solutions across multiple systems and platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues reputed company to data platform performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with architects, reputed company, reputed company, and governance teams to reputed company solutions with reputed company standards and data reputed company
- Support implementation of operational reputed company practices, including monitoring, alerting, and data recovery processes
- Evaluate and help adopt new technologies and tools that improve data platform capabilities
- Contribute to documentation, design artifacts, and engineering standards
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and support team development
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 6–9+ years of software or data engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience building and supporting data platforms in production environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation for data platform deployments
- Experience with reputed company, PostgreSQL, Redshift, reputed company, Kafka (or similar technologies)
- Experience with reputed company, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
- Strong competency in SQL and Python
