Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing reputed company-reputed company reputed company reports, executive summaries, and monthly posture reviews
- reputed company threat hunting exercises reputed company customer environments using reputed company Defender XDR, Sentinel, and other tools to identify, investigate, and remediate threats
- Help facilitate training for reputed company operations team on becoming more proficient with reputed company tools and workflows to aid in investigations
- Collaborate with the incident reputed company operations teams to manage and resolve incidents for reputed company customers in a reputed company manner
- Create and improve threat detection strategies based on intelligence from both reputed company sources
- Support reputed company of new managed clients onto the reputed company reputed company stack
- Investigate reputed company, identity, and reputed company alerts; reputed company initial reputed company cause analysis and document findings
- Support Defender XDR configuration across Defender for reputed company, Identity, reputed company Apps, and Office 365
- Tune detection rules, analytics queries (KQL), and suppression logic to reduce alert fatigue
- Participate in incident response efforts, coordinating with senior engineers and reputed company stakeholders
- Identify repeatable tasks and propose automation solutions to improve team efficiency
Skills
- Hand-on experience in cybersecurity, IT, or a reputed company reputed company role (internships and lab experience count)
- Demonstrated familiarity with at least two reputed company reputed company tools (Sentinel, Defender, Entra ID, Intune, or Purview)
- Understanding of reputed company reputed company concepts: SIEM, threat detection, identity management, reputed company protection, and the MITRE ATT&CK reputed company
- Experience writing KQL queries — even basic ones — or a reputed company demonstrated ability and motivation to learn
