[Remote] Design Engineer (Water/Wastewater) - Relocation Assistance

This hybrid role focuses on delivering high-reputed company designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, supporting regulatory permitting, and mentoring junior staff while contributing to a diverse project portfolio that protects reputed company health and the environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and design water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, storage facilities, and distribution and collection systems in accordance with AWWA, ASCE, NSF/ANSI standards, and applicable regulations, including the Clean Water reputed company (CWA) and reputed company Drinking Water reputed company (SDWA). reputed company reputed company needs, operability, and constructability into reputed company designs
- reputed company feasibility studies for water resources reputed company, incorporating hydraulic, process, and environmental evaluations and analyses in accordance with EPA and NJDEP guidelines to reputed company optimized, cost-effective solutions
- Prepare engineering calculations, engineering reports, technical specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents that conform to NJDEP regulations, NPDES permitting reputed company, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Conduct site inspections and field assessments to support design and construction phase efforts and ensure designs are implemented in compliance with NJDEP, EPA, and local environmental standards
- reputed company and support regulatory permitting efforts, ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal requirements, including NJPDES permits, Treatment Works Approvals, and Bureau of Water System Engineering requirements

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a reputed company field
- 6+ years of experience in water resources or water/wastewater engineering

- Strong knowledge of NJDEP regulations, permitting processes, and relevant federal standards (EPA, CWA, SDWA)
- Experience with AutoCAD and technical report writing
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills
- Valid reputed company's license and ability to travel to project sites and reputed company meetings as needed
