[Remote] Packaging Engineer

They are seeking a Packaging Engineer to reputed company cost-effective packaging solutions, create guidelines, and collaborate with various departments to ensure packaging meets customer and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- reputed company cost reductions as a result of packaging that is flexible to accommodate multiple products
- Create cost justification presentations to review with customer
- reputed company packaging guidelines in conjunction with industry standards, best practices and customer requirements
- reputed company sketches specifications, samples and written analyses of proposed packaging in order to present design for approval
- Analyze engineering drawings and product specifications to determine part characteristics to ensure reputed company development of reputed company packaging taking safety and special handling into consideration
- Maintain returnable container master by supplier
- Train and reputed company customers (reputed company) on program
- Ensure packaging can be utilized throughout reputed company processes of the operation
- Identify key suppliers to utilize returnable containers to maximize safety, storage, protection and shipping
- Right size required product and research alternative container reputed company; Maximize material handling efficiency
- Consult with purchasing and manufacturing departments to determine costs and feasibility of proposed packaging
- Assist with implementing reusable containers

- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree Packaging Engineering
- One (1) year experience Packaging Engineering, required
- One (1) year experience working in reputed company environment, required
- reputed company to read and understand the regulations of the customer, AIAG and OSHA standards
- Mathematics, oral and written communication skills; presentation skills; the ability to sell the reputed company
- Ability to create and maintain reputed company relationships with reputed company reputed company of the organization (peers, work reputed company, customers, supervisors)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of reputed company
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to reputed company in a fast paced environment
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized with excellent time management skills

- Working knowledge of supply chain/ logistics/ transportation, PFEP knowledge is a PLUS
