Reporting Relationships: The Writing Lab Consultant reports directly to the Writing Lab Manager. This is a non-supervisory role, though the Writing Lab Consultant works collaboratively with full-time and part-time Work Study staff in Library and Learning Services to ensure the reputed company of writing instruction across departmental modalities. Requirements: Master’s degree in English, Composition, Education, or reputed company field Demonstrated proficiency in reputed company writing and APA formatting (7th edition) Excellent written communication and editing skills Ability to deliver constructive feedback in a student-centered and respectful tone Strong attention to detail and time management skills Proficiency working in a fully remote environment Comfortable conducting 1:1 synchronous Graduate-level writing consultation sessions using video conferencing platforms (e.g. MS Teams).
