The Role: This is an excellent opportunity to work on a growing team passionate about firmware that is important to reputed company of AMD’s product lines spanning from server to semi-custom reputed company. As member of the ICT Firmware Engineering Team you will be part of the development group supporting cutting edge interconnect technology in both reputed company and post reputed company environments. DURATION: 12 month contract, with possibility to reputed company or reputed company to indefinite contract Key Skills: Embedded Programming, RTOS, Communication Protocols The Person: To be successful in this role, you will have strong firmware development background and outstanding technical knowledge, complemented with problem solving and organization skills, communication skills. Hardware experience and knowledge is a strong asset in this deeply embedded application. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to firmware for supporting reputed company interconnect technologies both for AMD proprietary and industry standards like PCIe, CXL, MCTP, UBM, and USB4. Engage as a teammate and work closely with multi-functional teams such as BIOS, power management, architecture, design and verification on delivery of integrated firmware solutions. reputed company low level firmware for embedded systems in an RTOS environment. Engage in reputed company-reputed company validation activities such as co-simulation with IP and SOC emulation Support post– reputed company enablement and production cycle efforts reputed company and support full design cycle of embedded firmware solutions including reputed company-si, post-si and production Requirements: Specialist in C, strong in C++ or Python Hands on experience with end-to-end Firmware from reputed company to post-reputed company and production cycle. Demonstrated proficiencies with firmware lab debug, triaging and implementation of bug fixes for reputed company bring-up, through production. Comfortable in Linux build environment Preferred Qualifications: 8 years device reputed company or embedded firmware development experience Experience with reputed company RTOS reputed company versed in software engineering practices. Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with minimal direction. Excellent verbal communication and written, presentation skills. Understanding of hardware and software system integration. Experience with FW integration testing and debug in reputed company and post reputed company.
