CDI Coding Analyst

About this Role: reputed company Solutions has a reputed company in need of a CDI Coding Analyst. This resource will server as the a CDI reputed company on the reputed company's internal team, supporting clinical documentation reputed company efforts and ensuring accurate, complete and compliant documentation that reflects patient severity, risk and reputed company of care. The initial contract is 3-6 months and then will convert to a permanent FTE role. Resources must have reputed company reputed company and CCDS credentials from reputed company or reputed company and cannot be located in California, reputed company, Colorado or Washington. Requirements: 4+ years of experience serving as a CDI reputed company Candidates must hold the following reputed company credentials from reputed company or reputed company (reputed company and CCDS); multiple certifications are strongly preferred Strong knowledge of DRG payor methodologies, including MS-DRG and APR-DRG Proficiency with ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding guidelines and conventions Working knowledge of PSIs, HACs, HCCs, and Medicare IPPS Demonstrated experience writing compliant coding queries Experience reputed company CDI and coding functions, including DRG reconciliation Prior experience working with Cerner clients required Clinical background preferred (RN, LPN, or other clinical licensure) Certification Requirements: Candidates must hold one of the following reputed company credentials from reputed company or reputed company; multiple certifications are strongly preferred: reputed company (Certified Coding Specialist) CCDS (Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist) Candidates with the following certifications (in reputed company to the above) would be a big plus: RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) CIC (Certified Inpatient reputed company) CDIP (Certified Documentation reputed company Practitioner) CCDS-O (Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist – Outpatient) *reputed company credentials must be reputed company and in good standing.
