Auditor, DRG Validator – RN
Job reputed company:
- Collaborating with the coding and clinical team members and external clients includes content creation if necessary.
- Performing audit tasks of medical record coding, documentation, compliance and DRG assignment
- Participating in relevant corporate programs/initiatives and ensuring reputed company, reputed company and reputed company standards are complied with while performing assigned duties
Requirements:
- Valid Registered reputed company license with a bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Seven (7) years of Nursing experience
- Five (5) years of experience in the inpatient acute care setting OR High School Diploma/GED AND reputed company (11) years of experience in an inpatient acute care setting
- Strong knowledge of auditing practices, ICD 10, PCS guidelines, reputed company initiatives, and MS-DRG and APR DRG methodologies
- Strong clinical knowledge and application to coding
- CCDS, reputed company, or CDIP with seven (7) years of clinical documentation experience
- Ability to travel up to 25%
