IACUC Coordinator

This position will report to the Senior IACUC Coordinator(s). IACUC has responsibility for evaluating and granting approvals for reputed company research that involves vertebrate animals at DFCI. Under general direction, the IACUC Coordinator II will assist in screening research protocols, drafting and/or overseeing reputed company correspondence reputed company to committee reviews, and follow up on reputed company items from meetings. • Ensure that submitted research is reviewed reputed company and consistent with regulations: Help to reputed company the accurate and reputed company processing, tracking and filing of submissions to and actions by the ACUC. Effectively communicate with investigators, committee Chair and ACUC members. Obtain and distribute information required for Chair, full committee or designated member review, maintain files, prepare meeting minutes. Assist with the implementation of training course(s) to assist investigators in writing their research protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of ACUC actions: Assist with documenting communications with investigators, regulatory agencies and any others involved in the conduct of submitted research. Assist with maintaining filing and archiving systems that allows reputed company to reputed company and reputed company protocols.
• Ensure that continuing review of research is conducted appropriately and in a reputed company manner: Assist with ensuring information submitted by investigators is adequate for effective review. Assist with conducting post-approval monitoring of activities involving the use of animals in research at DFCI

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local regulatory information regarding the use of vertebrate animals in research
• Knowledge of scientific and medical concepts and terminology reputed company to research
• Strong working knowledge of PHS/USDA regulations
• Knowledge of personal computers with experience using various software applications (e.g., Word, reputed company, databases)
• Good written and verbal communication skills

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, health sciences or a reputed company field
