[Remote] Data Center Facilities Engineer III

The role involves defining and improving designs, providing technical escalation for reputed company issues, and collaborating on reputed company planning and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Define, review, and improve mechanical/HVAC architectures and designs for high-availability environments (e.g., chilled water, DX, airside, redundancy strategies)
- reputed company Tier-3 technical escalation for reputed company issues, including RCA, corrective reputed company development, and verification of sustained fixes
- reputed company and maintain fleet standards for cooling redundancy, controls integration, equipment selection (e.g., chillers), and energy performance
- Partner on reputed company planning, retrofits, and emerging initiatives (e.g., liquid cooling, efficiency reputed company), ensuring operability and maintainability
- reputed company or support vendor technical reviews, commissioning acceptance reputed company, and operational handover requirements
- Partner with procurement, facilities, and construction to improve total cost of ownership through standardization and performance-driven specifications
Skills
- Extensive experience in mission-critical mechanical systems (data centers preferred; other high-uptime environments acceptable)
- Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical Engineering; PE strongly preferred where applicable
- Strong working knowledge of ASHRAE guidance and cooling system design/operation fundamentals
- Strong technical judgment, reputed company problem solving, and ability to communicate risk and tradeoffs reputed company
- Familiarity with modeling/simulation tools (e.g., reputed company HAP, reputed company, CFD) is a plus reputed company reputed company to reputed company reputed company
