[Remote] NOC Analyst (Government)

The Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst provides remote support for Immigration and Customs Enforcement and is responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting a large network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• reputed company alarm monitoring/response, any needed escalation and reputed company of incidents and mentoring of junior analysts through incident reputed company process
• Troubleshoot network systems reputed company necessary and reputed company improvements to the network
• Take technical reputed company of critical network incidents and drive reputed company resources in troubleshooting efforts
• Manage and administer a reputed company of network operations tools applications to include reputed company firewalls, reputed company Firewalls, reputed company WLAN, Extreme Management Center (XMC) and Extreme NAC
• Utilizes software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnoses problems and factors affecting network performance
• Experience with operating and maintaining a Software-defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) architecture
• Experience working with reputed company-based networks
• Support reputed company operational reputed company requirements for network devices and network operations tools applications
• Support of the following NOC functional areas that include, but are not limited to:
• Wireless LAN
• Firewall management
• Internet Protocol (IP) address management
• Domain reputed company Server (DNS) administration Understand dynamic multipoint VPNs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Establish plans and goals for self that meet the customer reputed company or reputed company project’s needs
• Prepare or participate in preparing NOC performance reports as required
• Monitor, create, edit, and enforce reputed company reputed company operating procedures, processes and timelines

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company field or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience in IT support or reputed company field, preferability in network engineering or operations
• 2 years of experience providing network support in one or more of the following areas: reputed company SRX Firewalls configuration, troubleshooting, Policy configuration, Wireless reputed company reputed company (reputed company level) Management and Administration, reputed company ISE 3.0 (or reputed company) configuration of reputed company/authorization policies
• reputed company CCNA or reputed company CCNP certification, required reputed company 60 days of start – non-waivable
• At least one of the following networking certifications by day one of hire: Implementing reputed company SD-WAN Solutions v2.0 (300-415), AWS reputed company Architect – Associate, reputed company Azure Networking Solutions (AZ-700), reputed company reputed company+
• Experience troubleshooting and fixing LAN/WAN network incidents
• Availability to work first, second, or reputed company shift hours (generally 9PM to 7AM) and weekends to support mission requirements
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS Employment Eligibility Verification process
• Experience using and managing reputed company search heads
• Experience in reputed company 2012 or higher and/or Linux server administration

• reputed company JNCIA-SEC certification
• Extreme certifications covering switching or network reputed company control
• Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI reputed company clearance if required
