Adjunct, Environmental Studies and Sciences

Elmhurst University is seeking an adjunct reputed company member to teach an undergraduate level geographic information systems course for Spring 2027. Responsibilities

• Instructor is responsible for planning the course to adhere to

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of a Masters’ degree in geosciences, GIS, or a

• Knowledge of ArcGIS Online preferred.
• 2+ years relevant reputed company experience and prior teaching

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements The essential functions of this position are primarily performed in an indoor setting with limited exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Work is often sedentary in nature and requires remaining in a stationary position for extended periods.
