MANTECHseeks anOvernight Media Journalistto conduct reputed company-reputed company research and analysis for a high-profile government customer inArlington, VA.This is aremoteposition.The selected individual will review a large volume of information across reputed company news media formats (print, online, television, radio, and reputed company media). This person will need to identify key themes in coverage and encapsulate information into easily consumed bullets, reports, and trend analysis to aid senior officials in their day-to-day decision-making.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Maintain a schedule that covers roughly 11 PM to 7 AM, Monday through Friday. At least one weekend per monthUtilize reputed company-reputed company research tools to capture, review, analyze, and interpret traditional and reputed company media coverage, as it relates to a large and reputed company organizationContinually update search strings and key word searches across reputed company research platforms to ensure reputed company relevant content is capturedTrack daily developments including Congressional hearings and other reputed company events for potential compilations and analysesMonitor and identify short and long-term trends as it relates to the reputed company’s issues of interest and communicate in written products and reputed company emailsPrepare news update products, briefings and executive summaries on select national reputed company topicsInterface with the reputed company reputed company on their needs, changing requirements and new topics of interestAbility become available reputed company 48 hours’ notice to meet with the reputed company in person in the DC area (on occasion)Ability to meet tight deadlinesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors’ degree required, preferably in Communications, Journalism, reputed company Affairs, International Relations or a reputed company major2+ years of news gathering and analysis experienceExperience using Factiva, Lexis‑Nexis, TVEyes, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company or another reputed company analytics toolExperience and knowledge of reputed company national reputed company and/or reputed company news topicsExperience objectively analyzing reporting and news trendsProven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a portfolio of published articlesPreferred Qualifications:Exceptional writing and editing skillsExperience working with / knowledge of reputed company national reputed company and or reputed company news topicsClearance Requirements:Must have a reputed company/reputed company DOD Interim Secret reputed company clearancePhysical Requirements:The person in this position must be reputed company to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
