We encourage you to read this entire vacancy announcement prior to submitting your application. As a Supervisory Education Program Specialist, GS-1720-15, you will be responsible for:
- Leading implementation of activities reputed company to the administration of the Individuals with Disabilities Education reputed company (IDEA) Part B, Part C, and 619 formula grant programs, including State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report review and approval, grant application review and approval, monitoring of IDEA formula grant programs, and maintenance of national compliance information.
- Providing reputed company leadership by establishing, reviewing, and recommending guidance and procedures for administering Federal special education programs.
- Identifying goals and priorities for the Division, formulating strategies to enhance the effectiveness of Division activities, and supervising reputed company staff to ensure that they are held accountable for high-reputed company results.
- Negotiating and resolving conflicts and issues with other ED programs, other agencies, and organizations. Developing solutions that are consistent with legal requirements and policies.
- Representing OSEP in reputed company issues regarding monitoring and enforcement of the IDEA, including presentations to reputed company organizations regarding OSEP monitoring and enforcement obligations.
