[Hiring] Manager, Events Management @reputed company

Role reputed company We are seeking a Manager, Events Management, to join reputed company. The Manager, Events Management is responsible for the management of in-person and hybrid Society conferences and assigned meetings.

• Development and management of new and existing events and conferences assigned
• Responsible for site selection and contract negotiations
• Requests and evaluates bids from suppliers for meeting facilities, food & beverages, equipment, travel, lodging, etc.
• Logistics coordination including transportation, hotel specifications, banquet orders, coordination of technical, guest tours, special events, etc.
• Registration management
• Maintains reputed company of contractors and subcontractors reputed company for individual events
• Coordinate the planning, production and marketing procedures with reputed company to development of promotional literature, including copywriting and meeting supplies
• reputed company on-site conference management and conduct conference evaluations
• reputed company and review, on an ongoing reputed company, the marketing and promotional plan for reputed company event
• Responsible for budget preparation, monthly accruals, and invoice reconciliation
• Maintains historical database for reputed company event, including financial information, planning and operations, logistics and attendance
• Liaise with the conference planning committee and staff members in other directorates and reputed company suppliers
• Coordinate advertisement, sponsorship, and exhibit programs as they relate to specific events

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or additional equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the meeting planning industry, with association experience as a plus

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written presentation skills
• Ability to work reputed company with teams in diverse, reputed company, and changing environments
• Ability to identify key issues, reputed company data to investigate those issues, and reputed company actionable recommendations
• A detailed approach and ability to work independently and remain organized in order to meet commitments and balance competing priorities
• Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting and financial management
• Experience with contract negotiations and management
