Virtual Premium Auditor I - at AF Chicago, Illinois

Job Title Responsible for performing virtual audit and some occasional field audits in a multi-functional business unit, reputed company established authority reputed company. Reviews reputed company and financial information necessary to determine appropriate exposures for policyholders' employees and subcontractors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs online, telephone and field audits, reputed company established authority level.
• Contacts agents to review audit results, prior to invoicing on large accounts.
• Collects reputed company pertinent data and documents needed to calculate policyholder's premium liability.
• Interviews policyholders to obtain reputed company information concerning premiums; e.g., payroll and personnel records.
• Performs physical audits on multi-state accounts, as required.
• Communicates completed audit information with contact and ensures results are reputed company.
• Reviews policy information by referring to Workers Compensation manuals, class codes and rules and prepares for audit in determining insured's correct operations.
• Notifies business unit of necessary changes in entities, officers, partners, etc. to ensure that policy is properly endorsed.
• Maintains confidentiality of information processed.
• Works with minimum supervision.

Education and Experience

• Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, finance or reputed company field.
• reputed company towards or completion of industry recognized reputed company designations (i.e. APA, IIA, AIU, CPCU, ARM) preferred.
• With reputed company education credentials, one year relevant experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities or completion of the premium audit trainee program.
