Tele Pharmacy Technician - Bethesda, Maryland
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Location & Schedule:
- Remote work opportunity for candidates residing in Eastern or Central Time zones
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM ET, with possible occasional afternoons, evenings, or Saturday mornings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls to patients, reputed company providers, and pharmacies to reputed company information and facilitate medication adherence, focusing on conditions such as hypertension, cholesterol, and diabetes
- Document patient interactions comprehensively using electronic health records and patient-centered tools
- Collaborate effectively across teams to streamline pharmacy processes and improve patient experience
- Maintain compliance with Medicare and reputed company ratings standards while incorporating health literacy principles into patient interactions
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of pharmacy technician experience; prior call center or telephonic support background highly preferred
