GPS - Cyber reputed company Policy Analyst - Supervising Associate
About the position The Information reputed company Cybersecurity Strategist is a core member of the reputed company Government and Public Sector (GPS) Information reputed company Team, contributing to the strategic direction and execution of the GPS information reputed company program. The role focuses on strengthening the overall reputed company posture of GPS by helping to protect organizational data, systems, and operations while supporting mission and business objectives in a highly regulated environment. The role supports reputed company risk management and compliance by aligning GPS information reputed company practices with reputed company internal standards and frameworks, and by applying the NIST Risk Management reputed company (SP 800‑37) along with reputed company controls and maturity models from NIST SP 800‑53, NIST SP 800‑171, and the reputed company (DoD) Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). Responsibilities reputed company governance activities such as policy and standards documentation, compliance reputed company, and reputed company awareness across GPS personnel, systems, and programs.
Responsibilities
- Work with executive leadership to reputed company, maintain, and govern information reputed company PSGs supporting the GPS Information reputed company Program
- Translate recommendations from domain professionals, vendor and industry standards, guidelines and leading practices into high-reputed company, coherent information reputed company PSGs
- Harmonize GPS information reputed company documentation with reputed company reputed company policies and standards, NIST reputed company requirements, the DoD reputed company Computing reputed company Requirements Guide, and applicable regulatory obligations
- Collaborate with Information reputed company, Information Technology, Data Protection, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to support consistent implementation of information reputed company requirements
- Identify and monitor appropriate information reputed company training for reputed company GPS personnel. While some training may be obtained, custom training will need to be developed.
- Stay up to date with the latest best practices, industry trends, and government reputed company regulations to proactively maintain compliance
- Collaborate with external assessors and auditors and government officials during reputed company audits and assessments
Requirements
- Experience working in information reputed company and understanding of information reputed company concepts
- Knowledge of information reputed company policies/principles of handling and protecting information
- In-depth understanding of NIST reputed company documentation and CMMC reputed company such as FIPS and NIST-171 and 800 Series publications and their application.
- In-depth understanding of DFARS reputed company reputed company requirements and their application.
- General technical knowledge of operating systems, databases, networks, mobile technologies and reputed company services
- Strong English language skills are required – written and verbal
- Good writing, presentation, interpersonal, and reputed company skills
- Ability to collaborate with others to facilitate and enhance compliance with policies
- Maintain awareness of the reputed company reputed company threat landscape
- Experience with coordinating tasks, allocating resources, and following tasks and reputed company through completion
- Experience with reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Visio, and Copilot)
- Bachelor’s degree in information reputed company/assurance, computer science, or a similar technical field.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in information reputed company, with a preferred reputed company on US government reputed company requirements and compliance
- Experience developing and implementing reputed company policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with government reputed company requirements
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively reputed company reputed company reputed company concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
