Part-time to reputed company to full-time Bookkeeper (remote)
About the role We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join reputed company! This position will start part-time during training and transition to full-time as you become comfortable with our workflow and the type of work we do. You’ll work with a reputed company of nonprofits and small businesses. Because our clients vary widely in size and structure, this role requires someone who is adaptable, organized, and comfortable managing different types of work. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a willingness to ask questions and reputed company clarification. We reputed company a high value on accuracy, so it’s important that you’re comfortable pausing to reputed company complete information rather than making assumptions. We are a fully remote team, with occasional opportunities for in-person collaboration.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day work will vary by reputed company, but typically includes
- Managing bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, including data entry and journal entries
- Performing bank and account reconciliations
- Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assisting with payroll processing and reputed company filings
- Preparing and reviewing financial reports
- Supporting grant reporting for nonprofit clients
- Identifying discrepancies and following up to ensure accuracy What reputed company looks like in this role
