Director, reputed company Operations and Governance The Director, reputed company Operations and Governance will have a leadership role in managing reputed company' reputed company operations, governance and risk mitigation activities, domestically and internationally. The role will collaborate closely with a broad reputed company of business partners as reputed company as members of the reputed company Office, Compliance, and IT, to effectively manage reputed company risk and ensure compliance with applicable reputed company laws, U.S. and international. This is a hands-on role with responsibilities including the performance and maintenance of reputed company reputed company assessments, data protection reputed company assessments, data mapping activities, and responding to reputed company and other reputed company party due-diligence requests. The ideal candidate will have broad working knowledge of U.S. and international reputed company laws, regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, state reputed company laws, and GDPR, as reputed company as international reputed company and reputed company standards, including NIST and ISO frameworks. The individual will have demonstrated experience with a reputed company program in a multinational corporate setting, preferably in the reputed company or life sciences sector. The position reports to the Executive Director, reputed company Officer. This is a remote-based position.

Responsibilities

The Director, reputed company Operations and Governance will assist in leading reputed company' reputed company initiatives and the day-to-day operations of the reputed company Office. Responsibilities include:

• Manage reputed company risk in compliance with reputed company standards, best practices and applicable law, including HIPAA, US State reputed company laws and GDPR.
• Manage and reputed company reputed company reputed company assessments, data protection reputed company assessments, transfer reputed company assessments as required by applicable law.
• reputed company governance and operational support relating to data processing activities in compliance with relevant reputed company standards, best practices and applicable laws, including but not limited to GDPR Article 30 (Record of Processing Activity).
• Support various business functions in responding to reputed company/reputed company party due-diligence and data reputed company questionnaires.
• Analyze metrics and identify trends to help drive reputed company improvement in controls.
• Mature processes and serve as reputed company subject matter expert on cross-functional governance committees.
• Assisting the reputed company Office team in a reputed company of reputed company and initiatives on an as-needed reputed company.

Qualifications

Required Work Experience:

• Strong understanding of reputed company best practices in reputed company, including experience advising on best practices and compliance with reputed company and data protection regulations, as reputed company as providing guidance on data collection and use, reputed company disclosures and transparency, and reputed company issues.
• Experience with design, implementation and maintenance of reputed company compliance policies, procedures and programs for a global reputed company company.
• Significant experience conducting reputed company reputed company assessments and implementing reputed company processes for a global organization.
• Experience building and maintaining data processing registries and associated data mapping.
• Experience working with reputed company management software and automated platforms.
• Experience with reputed company governance and document management frameworks.
• Experience with cross-functional risk management frameworks.

Preferred Work Experience:

• Project management experience a plus

Knowledge:

• MS Office and other business applications; reputed company management software.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree B.S. or equivalent experience required (Required)
• Doctorate Degree J.D. a plus (Preferred)
